Back when I regularly used Spacehey, I'd try to share a couple songs I had been listening to for however long I was gone. And that's exactly what I'm doing here (but with less frequent disappearances, I hope)
Britney Spears
One of her best singles. Insane production (especially on the bridge) and catchy as hell overall. Crazy that the producers of this only have a couple of producing credits together and then disbanded in 2015.
Kelis
That Neptunes early run was fantastic, and this is one of the prime examples of that. Kelis' voice fits perfectly on this song and I don't think they could've given this to anyone else but her.
Justin Timberlake
Two negatives make a positive. I think Pharrell is a fraud and a poser (and yes, I know this is The Neptunes, not just him), and I hate Justin Timberlake with a passion. And this is still one of the songs of all time. Unbelieveable.
Daft Punk
Very summer-y song, so I've been listening to it a lot. Everything in this song just clicks and the sampling is more than perfect.
George Michael
God there is no reason for George Michael to be dead right now. The way he spun getting arrested for getting his freak on into a fun, dance song is actually very commendable!!!
PinkPantheress
When she teased this before Fancy That released, I was so excited. I'm a huge Basement Jaxx listener and the way she used Romeo in a more modern style of music is so fantastic and she just always scratches the itch I have.
Kylie Minogue
I know every last word (adlibs included) of this song. I wouldn't say it's underrated, but maybe underappreciated. Gorgeous groovy song. Even more gorgeous and groovier album.
